JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, is hosting SHABD-2025, annual art and literary fest, on June 21 and 22 at Golden Jubilee Block, JSS STU premises in city at 10 am. Distinguished columnist, comedian and one of the leading writers of contemporary Kannada literature, H. Dundiraj, will inaugurate the event. The Principal, the Vice-Principal, the Dean of Student Affairs and the Coordinator will be present. The fest will feature a variety of art competitions including Canvas Swapping, T-Shirt Designing, Comic Strip and more.

In the literature section, participants can engage in English and Kannada competitions such as Quiz, Pop Trivia, Debate, Love Letter Writing and many others. SHABD is recognised as one of the largest art and literary festivals organised by an Engineering College in Karnataka. The competitions are open to participants of all ages, with no registration fees. On-the-spot registrations are available. The total prize pool for all events amounts to about Rs. 55,000.
