Shameem Akther (71), retired Government teacher and a resident of Kesare, passed away on Mar. 4 in city.

She leaves behind two sons, daughters-in-law, two daughters, son-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Farooqia Masjid in Kesare after Asar prayer followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle, according to family sources.
