Shelter for flower vendors on Valmiki Road inaugurated

Mysuru: Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda inaugurated the shelter for the stalls of flower bouquet vendors (florists), built on Valmiki Road, Vinayakanagar (Paduvarahalli) in the city this morning.

Speaking after inaugurating the shelters, Harishgowda said, the shelter covering 10 stalls and the platform have been built at the cost of Rs. 35 lakh utilising Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) funds. That apart, there are plans to restore the mini markets built at several parks in the city, currently in a dilapidated condition. MCC Superintending Engineer K.J. Sindhu, Development Officer Madhusudhan and others were present.
