Shivadeepotsava (Kruthikotsava) will be held at Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Mutt, Suttur Srikshetra, Nanjangud taluk, on Dec. 6 evening. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. There will be mass prayer from JSS Residential School music teachers and children at 6 pm.  Suttur Jathra Mahotsava’s  publicity vehicle will be launched at 6.35 pm. This will be followed by a special lecture by humorist and Kannada Rajyotsava awardee Prof. M. Krishnegowda on the topic ‘Belakina Utsava’ at 7 pm. Mahamangalarathi, Prakarotsava and Deepotsava will be held at 8 pm.  Prasada will be distributed.
