Short-term theatre training camp inauguration on Sept. 4

Rangayana Mysuru has been organising one-month theatre training camps for students  at various Colleges across the city. Students of eight colleges are taking part in the camp this year.

Apart from this, for amateur artistes a short-term theatre training camp has been organised in memory of Subbaiah Naidu and Padmashri Nagarathna-mma. The inaugural programme these two camps will be held at Bhoomigeeta in the Rangayana premises on Sept. 4 at 5.30 pm.

Kannada and Culture Mini-ster Shivaraj S. Tangadagi  will inaugurate the event. MLA K. Harishgowda will preside. Veteran theatre artiste Venkataramana Aithala and Kannada and Culture Department Director Vishwanath  P. Hiremath will be the chief guests. Kannada and Culture Department Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy will be present on the occasion.
