Short-term training and post-diploma courses at GTTC

Mysuru: Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC), under the joint aegis of Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood and Chief Minister’s Kaushalya Karnataka Yojane (CMKKY) has invited applications from eligible students for admission to short-term training and Post-Diploma courses.

Admission is open for poor and unemployed candidates who have passed SSLC, PUC, Diploma and BE (Mechanical). Free training will be provided for trades such as Turner, Miller, Grinder, Fitter, Mechanical Assembly, CNC-Turning, Milling, Grinding, CNC Programming and Designer Mechanical – CATIA, UG, Pro- E, MCAM, CAD and solid works and Post-Diploma in Tool Design and Tool Room Machinist, IOT, PDV, CAD-CAM, Mechatronics, RPT, Robotics and Renewable Energy courses. Post-Diploma in Tool Design and Tool Room Machinist is also available with fee for one-year course.

Interested candidates can apply online by logging on to https://www.kaushalkar.com and should also submit copies of study certificate, caste and income certificates, Aadhaar card, passport size photo and other education related documents before Nov. 30. SC and ST candidates

GTTC is offering free one-year Post Diploma Course in Tool Design for SC and ST community candidates who have passed Diploma. The course includes topics on Press Tools, Plastic Moulds, Pressure Die, Casting Dies, Jigs and Fixtures etc.  Candidates on completion of training will be provided with monthly scholarship.
