Mysuru: Suttur Mutt, located on the foot of Chamundi Hill, will be organising spiritual discourse series from July 24 to Aug. 22 every day during the Hindu month of Shravana.

The Mutt will conduct mass prayers from 6 pm to 6.30 pm. Gubbi Mallannaarya will deliver the discourse on ‘Veerashaivamrutha Purana’ between 6.30 pm and 7.30 pm. Dr. K. Anantharamu, Prof. S. Nanjunadaiah and Dr. B.V. Vasanthakumar will give the vyakhyana while K. Ramachandra will render vaachana.

The discourse series will be inaugurated by Mayor M.J. Ravikumar. Bidagalu Sri Paduvalu Vraktha Mutt Seer Sri Mahadeva Swamy will preside. Assistant Commissioner H.N. Shivegowda will be the chief guest. Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion.   Transport facility has been arranged from J.P. Nagar, JSS Layout and JSS Mahavidyapeetha.
