Siddashetty (88), retired Town Municipal Council Chief Officer and a resident of Kuvempunagar, passed away yesterday night in city.

He had served as a Chief Officer at Hunsur, Bannur, Gundlupet, Malavalli and other places.

A native of K.R. Nagar, he leaves behind his wife Gowramma, three daughters, a son and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the family’s farm land at Sahukar Hundi on Gaddige Road here this afternoon, according to    family sources.
