Siddaveerappa (80), a resident of Poornaiah Street in Srirangapatna, passed away yesterday following prolonged illness.

He leaves behind his wife Shivamma, three sons including S. Kumar, Mysooru Mithra reporter and S. Shantesh, a newspaper distributor and a host of relatives.

Last rites were held at Shambhu Lingaiahnakatte Burial Ground this afternoon.
