Siddharamaiah gets nod for Cabinet expansion

New Delhi; The Congress High Command today gave a green signal for the Cabinet expansion in Karnataka. Sources said that CM Siddharamaiah, who is in New Delhi, held talks with the Party High Command and got approval for filling up three portfolios which have fallen vacant following the demise of H.S. Mahadevaprasad and resignations of Dr. G. Parameshwara and H.Y. Meti.

It is almost certain that the Cabinet expansion will take place on Aug. 19. Sources added that H.M Revanna, R.B. Thimkapur and K. Shadakshari will get Cabinet berths.
