Siddharamaiah’s brother Ramegowda passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: Ramegowda (70), the youngest brother of Opposition leader and former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, passed away at a private hospital in Mysuru on Friday night following brief illness.

Ramegowda, a resident of Siddaramanahundi in the taluk, is survived by his wife Rukmini, sons Ravi and Raghu, daughter Nagarathna (Boramma) and a host of relatives and friends.

His last rites were performed at Siddaramanahundi this afternoon, according to family sources.

Many political leaders including Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, have condoled his death.
