Siddu’s birthday:  Welfare programmes

Marking the 75th birthday of former CM Siddharamaiah, the city-based Karnataka State SiddharamaiahAbhimanigalaBalaga will be conducting several welfare programmes across the city  tomorrow (Aug.12), said Balaga President Hinkal Prakash at a press meet in city.

10 am: Garlanding of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue in Town Hall premises; 11 am: Distribution of sarees to street vendor women near Devaraja Market; 12.30 pm: Annadana to specially- abled children at Sri BasaveshwaraNavachetana school at D. Salundi in Jayapura Hobli; 2 pm:  Distribution of fruits to inmates of Chiguru Ashrama located in Koorgalli Industrial area.
