Signal jumping menace

May 5, 2022

Sir,

It has been observed that most of the two-wheeler riders and auto drivers are jumping signals in many places such as Bamboo Bazaar, Vontikoppal and Metagalli traffic signal junctions and have no respect for the traffic rules.

This may lead to serious accidents of innocent riders, especially near the signals, who are religiously following rules.

I request the Police Department to appoint their personnel near traffic signals to catch and book these culprits and thus bring an end to this signal jumping menace which is on the rise.
