Mysuru: Following the conclusion of first phase of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the State yesterday, as many as 5.59 lakh (5,59,340) voters have been removed from ASDDO (Absent, Shifted, Deceased, Duplicated and Others) list in Mysuru district.
During the period of SIR, held from June 30 this year, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) who undertook door-to-door visits, distributed 22.4 lakh (22,40,353) Enumeration Forms and collected the filled in forms and completed the process of digitalisation of the forms.
Mysuru district has a total of 27,99,693 voters, among which 5,59,340 voters have been removed from ASDDO list. In the next phase, revised draft electoral rolls will be published on Aug. 24 till Sept. 26.
The list can be accessed on the website of Election Commission or that of the District Administration, where voters can cross check their details. If not, the voters can also access the draft list personally by visiting the offices of Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) and Zonal Offices.
Final voters list on Oct. 19
Till Sept. 26, objections can be filed through Form-8 to rectify the errors related to the voters residential address, while Form – 6 should be submitted to enrol voters names found missing in the draft, despite having voter ID by submitting the relevant documents.
If there are duplicated voters, the names of such voters can be removed from the list by submitting Form-7. Nearly one-month time is available for the voters to complete the process.
After the final stage of revision of draft voter’s list, Election Commission will be publishing the final list of voters on Oct. 19.
