Mysore/Mysuru: Bengaluru-based SistersInSweat, a community dedicated to women’s sport and wellness, will be organising SIS X Mysore Run on Dec. 7 from SAPA Bakery in Gokulam.

This run is organised exclusively for women and the entry fee is Rs. 350. Interested can visit www.sistersinsweat.com/events to register themselves for the run.

The event will begin with a warm-up at 6.45 am followed by 3K/5K run. Every participant will receive a sandwich.

SistersInSweat, co-founded by Swetha Subbaiah, performance coach and Tanvie Hans, a professional footballer in 2017 at Bengaluru with a group of 17 women, has now over 15,000 active members across Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

The organisation was started with an aim of bringing back women to sport and provide them a platform to enjoy playing sport with a community of like-minded woman.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, Swetha Subbaiah said SistersInSweat with an aim to extend its activities in Mysuru is organising Mysore Run on Dec. 7 (Sunday) for women.
