Mysore/Mysuru: Six achievers from different fields — Dr. Rajappa Dalvai (Literature and Theatre), Amshi Prasannakumar (Journalism), Prof. S. Shivarajappa (Literature), Dr. Abdul Khader (Medical), Dr. G. Prashanth Nayak (Literature) and C.M. Narasimhamurthy (Folklore and Theatre) — will be conferred ‘Bhima Ratna’ Award during Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations organised under the joint aegis of Janapara Sahitya Parishat, Sri Nataraja Pratishtana and Vatsalya School of Education at Sri Nataraja auditorium here tomorrow (Apr. 24) at 10.30 am.

Former Vice-Chancellor of Bhubaneshwar’s ASBM University Dr. Mahadev will inaugurate the programme in the presence of Hosamutt Seer Sri Chidananda Swamiji.

Shree Malai Mahadeshwaraswamy Kshethra Development Authority Secretary A.E. Raghu will confer the award while University of Mysore Registrar (Evaluation) Dr. Basappa will deliver the felicita- tion address.

Also, K.R. Prabhavathi (Tribal service), Yashaswini Girish (Young talent) and Chandrakala (Organisation) will be felicitated, according to a press release.
