Six booked for trespassing into Bishop House

Mysore/Mysuru: Following an order from the 2nd JMFC Court, Lashkar Police have registered a case against six persons for trespassing into the old Bishop House on Mother Theresa Road in city.

Cases have been registered against Stephen Sujith of Sharadadevinagar, Marie Joseph of Lourdnagar, John Fernandes of Gandhinagar, Maria Francis of N.R. Mohalla, Ambrose George of Gandhinagar and Elvin of Ashokapuram.

According to the complaint lodged by Mysore Diocesan Society Secretary Fr. James Dominic (Complainant), the repairs and renovation works of the old Bishop House was given to Kristy Babu, who had deployed workers for the job. But on Jan. 4 at about 12 noon, when the workers were using an earth excavating machine for the repair works, the six accused barged into the old Bishop House, stopped the works and also threatened the workers against carrying   out any works.

Later, the complainant approached the Court which directed the jurisdictional Lashkar Police to investigate and submit a report.

Following the Court order, Lashkar Police have registered a case against the six persons and are investigating.
