Skaters sensitise voters on polling day in city

April 19, 2019

In a novel way of creating voter awareness on compulsory voting, some spirited youths of the city took to skating on Thursday to sensitise the electorate on the importance of voting.

The youths went on a skating-spree passing through Siddartha Layout, Nazarbad, Town Hall, MMC&RI, Shivarampet, JLB Road, Ursu Boarding School, DC office and other areas, even as the polls were underway for the Mysuru-Kodagu LS seat. Pratap, Sandesh, Anjan, Aravind and Sanjay were part of the skating team.
