Mysore/Mysuru: Celebrations continue at GRS Snow Park as popular actress-turned- director Ranjani Raghavan visited GRS Snow Park to see the world’s first Snow Ambari, following its grand unveiling by the mahout families a week earlier.

 During her visit, Ranjini added her personal touch by naming the snow elephant ‘Airavatha’, after the mythological white elephant known for strength and divinity.

“It feels wonderful to see Mysuru’s grandeur celebrated in such a unique way. Snow Ambari truly brings the spirit of Dasara alive for today’s generation. Naming the elephant Airavatha felt natural, it stands for strength, divinity, and Mysuru’s bond with elephants,” she said, addressing visitors and fans who had gathered to meet her.

 “We were delighted to have Ranjini with us,” said Ashwin Dange, Director, GRS Snow Park. “With the mahouts unveiling it and now Ranjini giving it a name, the Snow Ambari has become more than just a sculpture. It has a story, a spirit, and a personality that people will remember long after Dasara.”

Located beside GRS Fantasy Park on the Ring Road, just 5 kms from Mysuru city centre, GRS Snow Park promises to be one of the highlights of Dasara.

The Snow Ambari will remain open until Oct. 12. Tickets are available online and at the venue.
