Sri Vidyavallabha Theertha Swamiji’s 34th Chaturmasya in city

Mysuru: Hindutva thinker and noted orator Chakravarthy Sulibele has described cow vigilantes as the “true guardians of Hindutva” and urged society to stand by them.

He was speaking at the 34th Chaturmasya celebrations of Sri Vidyavallabha Theertha Swamiji, the 30th pontiff of Sri Kaniyooru Mutt, one of the Ashta Mathas of Udupi, at Sri Krishna Dhama in Mysuru last evening under the aegis of Sri Krishna Trust and Sri Krishna Mitramandali.

Sulibele said it was a matter of joy that the Swamiji had chosen Mysuru for his 34th Chaturmasya. He said cow protectors worked day and night to safeguard animals considered dear to Lord Krishna.

“If you meet such a person, speak to him with affection, pray for his health and long life and, if possible, extend financial help,” he appealed.

He alleged that foreign powers were conspiring to topple Prime Minister Modi’s government, with Opposition parties allegedly giving priority to such efforts.

Referring to a recent protest in Delhi under the banner ‘Zen Z’, Sulibele claimed it was projected as a student agitation but alleged that more than 2,500 people with criminal backgrounds took part.

He further alleged that crores of rupees were flowing into the country from abroad in the name of religious conversions. He said the Union Government had sought to amend the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act to regulate such funds, but alleged that “Hindu-opposing organisations” attempted to block the move by instigating ‘Zen Z’ protest.

“Though it appeared to be against NEET, the speeches revealed it was an anti-national movement,” he remarked.

Drawing a parallel with the colonial era, Sulibele said the British had used divide-and-rule policies among Hindus and alleged that similar tactics were now being adopted by political parties and organisations opposed to Hindutva.

He said the country was passing through a period of crisis and stressed the need for strong leadership like that of Modi for a resilient India. Sulibele also referred to Modi’s leadership during the India-Pakistan conflict, claiming that the war ended in four days because of firm decision-making.

“The time has come for everyone to speak up for Hindu survival. Protecting those who fight for Hindutva is our collective responsibility,” he said.
