Solar eclipse: Chamundi Hill Temple  to be closed at 1 pm on Oct. 25

Due to Solar eclipse (Suryagrahana) to take place on Oct. 25, the Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill will be closed for devotees from 1 pm on Oct. 25 (Tuesday).  The Temple will be open for devotees only up to 1 pm on that day, following which it will be closed and special Sparshakaala and Mokshakaala pujas and other rituals will be performed in keeping with the customary practice, according to a notification issued by the Temple authorities, who have also sought co-operation of the public.
