SOM impact: City couple extends help to Koravanjis

Suresh Subbarao, a retired employee of a private company in city and his wife neurologist Dr. Ratnavalli, who learnt about the plight of Koravanjis after reading a special feature titled “Soothsayer Koravanjis of Mysuru stare at bleak future” published in ‘SOM’ on May 3, distributed ration kits to 62 Koravanji families residing at Yellamma Colony in Bannimantap, Mysuru, recently in the presence of Colony leader Ramesh.

Each kit includes 10 kg rice, 5 kg ragi flour, cooking oil, sugar, dal, 2 kg onion and bathing soap.
