Somashekar Aradhya (80), a retired Coffee Board officer at Bekkare village in Periyapatna, passed away in the early hours of this morning at his residence in BEML Layout in Srirampura 2nd Stage, Mysuru.

He leaves behind his wife Vishalakshi, daughter Sumarani, an Inspector at the Department of Legal Metrology, son Hemanth Kumar, an engineer and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed today at Veerashaiva-Lingayath Burial Grounds in Vidyaranyapuram.
