Some suggestions for a Shiny Dasara

September 24, 2024

Sir,

This refers to the ‘Shiny Dasara’ news item, which gives hope for beautiful lighting this year. The lighting should complement the nearby activities of each area. For example, the lighting designs of the road to SJCE and Mysore University could feature books, engineering equipment, art and science. The lighting near Kalamandira should depict drama. Likewise, near colleges and other prominent offices, the illumination designs should reflect the functional nature of those structures.

This would give a deeper meaning to this year’s Dasara.
