South Zone Inter-University Men’s Cricket: Madan Mohan, Kishan shine in Mysore University’s win

Skipper Madan Mohan’s four-wicket haul (four for 16) and inspiring batting by Kishan S. Bedare (41, 25b, 3×4, 2×6) helped University of Mysore to register a well-earned 67-run win over Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai and enter the quarter-finals in the South Zone Inter-University Cricket Tournament for Men 2018-19, played at the JSS-SJCE Grounds here yesterday.

SCORES: Pre-quarter finals — Mysore University: 162 for 7 in 25 overs (Kishan S. Bedare 41, S.J. Nikin Jose 32, Nandan Narayan 20, Pandiya Raja 2 for 23, Shankara Narayanan 2 for 30) bt Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai: 95 for 8 in 25 overs (Nithin 27, Pandiya Raja 22, Madan Mohan 4 for 16).
