SP holds interaction with farmers

June 13, 2017

Mysuru: SP Ravi D. Channannavar held an interaction programme with the farmers at his office this morning. Addressing the farmers at the auditorium, he said the Police usually contact the farmers only at the time when there was a protest or when a farmer commits suicide.

We understand the problems faced by the farmers but we are helpless. These kinds of interaction programmes give farmers a chance to express their problems and also an opportunity to attract State Government’s attention, he said.

Additional SP Kala Krishnaswamy, Probationary Mohammed Sujitha, officials of survey department, forest department, revenue department, farmer leaders Kurubur Shanthakumar and Chinnaswamy Vaddagere and others were present during the programme.
