Special children celebrate unique carnival

Mysuru: Mysore Heritage Round Table 109 (MHRT 109) and Mysore Heritage Ladies Circle 109 (MHRT109) celebrated Children’s Day in a unique way by organising a unique carnival for special children on Nov.17 at Govindegowda Convention Centre in Kuvempunagar.

The event was inaugurated by MP Pratap Simha. Journalist Ravi Koti, Vibaga Pracharak Rajesh, Govindegowda Convention Centre Owner Vidya Arun, LC India President Cr. Namrata Shenoy, MHRT 109 Chariman Tr. E. Arun Kumar, MHLC 109 Chairperson Cr. Meghana Sharath, Tr. Siddarth Shastry, Area Chairman of Area 13 and Chairperson of Area 13 Cr. Sangeetha Maheshwere present.

About 800 special children, parents and teachers of Mysuru district took part in the event. Many activities were held for the special children such as drawing and painting, music and face painting. Certificates and prizes were given away to every child.
