Special children excel in UMANG-2025 contests

Mysuru: Devdan Foundation Learning Centre from Mysuru, represented through Special Olympics Committee, Karnataka State, has won three medals in ‘UMANG-2025 Season 7’ Cultural Competitions organised for Intellectually Challenged Children at Gems Cambridge International School in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, recently.

The event was organised under the joint aegis of Jagjit Singh Sachdeva Ashakiran Special School and Special Olympics Bharat (SOB), Punjab Chapter, with the aim of giving a platform to the talent of intellectually challenged children.

The competitions saw participation of 330 children in 29 teams from all over India.

The students from Devdan School won gold in solo dance male higher ability (Dhyan), gold in unified dance (Dhyan, Kishore, Gahan, Samreen and Amreen) and silver in team dance (Dhyan, Kishore and Gahan).
