Special lecture on ‘Anthropological Museum from Lakshadweep’ held

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of International Museum Day – 2024, Anthropological Survey of India (AnSI), Southern Regional Centre, Mysuru, had organised a special lecture titled “Concept to Reality – The First Collections of Zonal Anthropological Museum from Lakshadweep Islands” in city recently.

Prof. Pramod Kumar Misra, an esteemed anthropologist, delivered the lecture and delved into fascinating journey of bringing the cultural heritage of Lakshadweep Islands.

Deputy Director of AnSI Dr. Harashawaradhana inspired the staff and also elucidated the significance of museums in education and research.

Earlier, Dr. Harashawaradhana welcomed the speaker and the gathering. Banita Behera conducted the programme.
