Mysuru: Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, held a special inaugural puja ceremony on Aug. 22 and 23 as preparations got underway for the launch of a new Department at the hospital. The puja ceremony was held in the presence of Sri Someshwaranatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Mutt, Mysuru Branch.

Among the prominent medical professionals present were Dr. Avinash and Dr. Chaitra,  both well-regarded for their clinical expertise and standing in Mysuru’s medical fraternity.

Also present at the ceremony were Dr. Rajkumar P. Wadhwa, Dr. Srinivas Nalloor, Dr. S. Nairuthya, Dr. Akshay Anchan and Dr. Y. Ramya along with N.G. Bharateesha Reddy, Senior Vice-President — Rest of Karnataka, Apollo Hospitals. Several other reputed doctors, hospital leadership, nurses and staff were also present.

The puja marked the commencement of preparations for the new Department, with the launch scheduled for early September. Further details about the Department and its offerings will be unveiled soon, stated a press release.
