Speech contest

As part of Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti ( Oct. 2), the Mysuru District Nehru Yuva Kendra has invited applications from interested youths for taking part in the district-level Lal Bahadur Shastri speech contest. The topic is ‘The life and times of Lal Bahadur Shastri.’ The speech can be delivered in Kannada, Hindi or English, not exceeding a period of three minutes. Youths in the age group of 18 to 29 years can take part. The last date for registration is Sept. 15.
