I would like to draw the attention of authorities concerned towards the frequent violations of speed limit on KD Road  that is causing great hardships and threat to the lives of the commuters, specially the pedestrians.

I can recall that till some years ago there was a sign board near icici bank building showing the speed limit as 30 KM /hr.  Now it has vanished.

However, the two and four-wheelers are driven at breakneck speed and they seldom care about the safety of commuters. They totally ignore the fact that this is a busy upmarket stretch and not a State or National Highway.

Therefore, it is required to enforce the speed limit on this road. Our Traffic Police personnel should spare some attention towards this violation of traffic rules other than helmetless riding and driving cars without seat belts.
