Mysuru’s Table tennis player M.V. Spoorthy, a student of SBRR Mahajana FGC, won the women’s doubles and mixed doubles titles respectively in the State Olympics Table Tennis event which concluded in                                        Dharwad yesterday.

In the women’s singles event, Spoorthy finished runner-up. In the women’s doubles final, Spoorthy teaming up with V. Kushi beat Kalyani & G. Yashashwani  7-11, 11-8, 11-9, 15-17, 11-6. In the mixed doubles final, Spoorthy and Shreyal Telang beat G.S. Sanketh & A. Samyuktha 11-3, 11-9, 10-12, 11-7. In the women’s singles final, V. Kushi beat M.V. Spoorthy 11-9, 11-7,9-11,12-10, 8-11, 11-8 and clinched the title.
