Sri Bhagiratha Jayanthi on May 8

The District Administration in association with Kannada and Culture Department and Sri Bhagiratha Jayanthyotsava Samithi will be celebrating Sri Bhagiratha Jayanthi by taking out a procession from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple in city on May 8 at 10 am. The procession will be followed by a stage programme at Kalamandira in city at 12 noon.

District in-Charge Minister S.T. Somashekar will inaugurate the programme. MLA L. Nagendra will preside.  In-charge Mayor Sunanda Palanetra, MPs Pratap Simha, V. Sreenivasa Prasad and Sumalatha Ambarish will be the chief guests. MLCs, MLAs, Heads of Boards and Corporations will be present, according to Kannada and Culture                         Assistant Director.
