Sri Datta Humane Services volunteers Parade at Sri Ganapathy Ashram

Sri Datta Humane Services (SDHS) volunteers took out a parade at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram on Nanjangud Road in city this morning as part of the ongoing 80th birthday celebrations of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, 100th birth anniversary of Sri Jayalakshmi Mata and 24th anniversary of Nada Mantapa. On the occasion, Avadhoota Datta Peetham Seer Sri Ganapathy Swamiji was taken out in a procession from Sri Datta Temple to Nada Mantapa at the Ashram premises in a 750-kg Panchaloha palanquin by devotees. The palanquin was donated by a COVID-affected family from Tamil Nadu, which had vowed to donate the same to the Ashram if they recovered soon.
