Sri Krishna Janmashtami at ISKCON, Jayanagar

Mysuru: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is celebrating Sri Krishna Janmashtami at its centre in 18th Cross, Jayanagar in city on Aug. 24.

Celebrations will begin from 7.30 am: Shringara Arathi, 9 am to 10 pm: Sangeethotsava; 10 pm: Maha Abhisheka of Sri Krishna Balarama; 11.30 pm: Presentation on the pastime of Lord Krishna; 12 midnight: Maha Mangalarathi with Sankirtana.

Cultural programmes – 6pm:  Instrumental recital by Vid. Dasappa and troupe; 7 pm to 8pm: Sambhavami Yuge Yuge, a dance drama by Shri Durga Nruthya Academy directed by Vidu. Srividya Shashidhar.
