Mysore/Mysuru: In celebration of the 41st Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Guru Govinda Vittaladasa, Sri Gurugovinda Nivasa Trust, Mysuru, has orchestrated the captivating Dwandwa Harikatha ‘Sri Krishna Leele,’ featuring the talented siblings Srilalitha Uliyaru and Srihari Acharya Uliyaru, hailing from Udupi district.

This enchanting event is scheduled to take place at Sri Panduranga Vittala Mandira in Krishnamurthypuram on Jan. 7 at 6.30 pm.

The duo will be accompanied by Vid. Purushottam on keyboard and Vid. Kumar on tabla, enhancing the melodic experience for the audience.

Srilalitha and Srihari, born into a family of artistes, have both exhibited prodigious talents from a young age. Srilalitha’s journey includes receiving ‘Haridasa Deekshe’ from the renowned Harikatha expert Bhadragiri Achuta Dasa at the tender age of eight.

On the other hand, Srihari, currently an 8th-grade student at Vanitha Sadana, has not only been featured on AIR and various electronic media but has also mastered tabla and keyboard.

Srilalitha’s illustrious career boasts over 350 Kalakshepas, spanning sacred temples like Tirupathi, Mantralaya, Kobakonam and Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram. Her contributions have earned her the prestigious Karnataka Shishya Vetana (Scholarship), along with numerous titles and awards.

Srihari, displaying his musical prowess, has been a constant companion in many of her programmes, showcasing his proficiency in both keyboard and tabla. The following programmes are also arranged on the occasion:

Vijayindracharya, Mysuru; 10.30 am: Discourse on ‘Vijayadasara Vaibhava’ by Kallapura Pavamanacharya, Bengaluru; 2 pm: Harikathamrutasara Parayana; 3 pm: Pancheekarana by N. Parimala Prasad, Bengaluru; 4 pm: Gurugala Smarane by Shishya Prashishya; 5 pm: Discourse on ‘Panchavrindavana Vaibhava’ by Karnool Srinivasacharya, Bengaluru; 8.45 pm: Taratamya Bhajan, Jagarane.

Jan. 8 (Sri Guru Govindadasara Punyatithi) — Various rituals will be performed from 3.15 am onwards.
