Mysuru: Sri Mahadevadeshikendra Swamiji (72), President of Namaha Shivaya Mutt on Ramanuja Road here and Hon. Secretary of Sri Nataraja Vidya Samsthe, passed away at a private hospital in city this morning.

A native of Gulipura village in Kollegal taluk of Chamarajanagar district and son of late Mahadevappa and late Lalithamma couple, Sri Mahadevadeshikendra Swamiji is survived by one brother and three sisters.

Last rites were held at Veerashaiva Lingayat Burial Grounds at Lalithadripura this afternoon, according to a press release from Sri Nataraja Pratishtana.
