Sri Raghavendraswamy Aradhana: Tulsi saplings distributed to people

Mysuru: As part of 347th Sri Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana Mahotsava, Mysuru District Brahmana Yuva Vedike had organised a programme at Sri Raghavendraswamy Mutt in Krishnamurthypurm here recently to distribute books on Sri Raghavendraswamy and Tulsi sapling to the people.

Launching the programme, Vedike Gen. Secretary Vikram Iyengar and Mutt Head Priest Prahlad Acharya explained the mythological importance of Tulsi plant which was very much liked by Sri Ragavendraswamy and added that Tulsi has also gained medicinal importance now. They added that Tulsi was more divine for God as against flowers,  fruits, food and precious metals.

BJP leader K.M. Nishanth, Vedike President H.N. Sreedharamurthy, Members and others were present.
