Sri Ramabhyudhaya Sabha to celebrate Ramotsava from Apr. 10 to May 6

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of its 132nd Sri Ramotsava celebrations, Sri Ramabhyudhaya Sabha Public Charitable Trust has organised the following cultural programmes at Alamma Choultry in Srirampet here from Apr. 10 to May 6 between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm:

April 10: Classical Music by Vidu. Sudha Ragunathan and troupe; April 11: Classical Music by Vid. Sandeep Narayan. He will be accompanied by H.N. Bhaskar on violin; K.U. Jayachandra Rao on mridanga and G.S. Ramanujam on ghata.

April 12: Classical Music by Vid. Vignesh Eshwaran; Violin: R.K. Sriram Kumar; Mridanga: Arun Prakash and Kanjira: Bharghava Halambi.

April 13: Violin Duet by Vid. Mysore M. Nagaraj and Vid. Mysore M. Manjunath; Mridanga: Yella Venkateshwara Rao and Ghata: Giridhar Udupa.

April 14: Classical Music by Vid. N.R. Prashanth; Violin: Karthik; Mridanga: Tumkur Ravishankar and Morching: Vikram Bharadwaj.

April 15: Flute Duet by Vid. Heramba and Vid. Hemantha; Violin: Keshava; Mridanga: Arjun Kumar and Ghata: G.S. Ramanujam.

April 16: Classical Music by Trichur Brothers — Vid. Srikrishna Mohan and Vid. Ramkumar Mohan; Violin: Sai Rakshith; Mridanga: Trichur R. Mohan and Ghata: Kovai Suresh.

April 17: Classical Music by Vid. Abhishek Raghuram; Violin: Akkarai Subhalakshmi; Mridanga: Patri Sathish Kumar and  Ghata: Vyasa Vittala.

April 18: Classical Music by Kunnakudi M. Balamuralikrishna; Violin: Akkarai Subhalakshmi; Mridanga: Patri Sathish Kumar and Ghata: Giridhar Udupa; April 19: Veena recital by Vid. Ramana Balachander; Mridanga: Anantha R. Krishna and Ghata: Giridhar Udupa.

At Moole Rama Mandira in Srirampet

April 10 to 19 (5 pm to 6 pm): Discourse on ‘Ramayana’ by K. Ramachandra, retired Engineer.

April 17 (10 am): Sita Kalyana.

April 20 (9.30 am): Sri Rama Pattabhisheka under the guidance of A.N. Somashekar followed by Gamaka Vaachana by Vasantha Venkatesh. Vyaakhyana by K. Ramachandra; 12.30 pm: Mahamangalarati; 1 pm: Prasada distribution.

April 21: Cultural programmes.

April 22 (6.30 pm): Hanumanthotsava procession along with Nadaswara recital by Vid. Parthasarathi and troupe; 8 pm: Mahamangalarati and Prasada distribution.

April 23 (6.30 pm): Shayanotsava. Classical Music by Vidu. Keerthana and troupe.

April 24 (6.30 pm): Olagudi Utsava. Classical Music. ‘Hari Kathe’ by Vidu. Vani and Vidu. Veena Sisters.

May 6 (8 am): Sri Shankara Jayanthi. Abhisheka to Sri Shankara Bhagavathpada and procession followed by Prasada distribution.
