Sri Ramabhyudhaya Sabha to host Ramothsava Sangeethothsava-2024

Sri Ramabhyudhaya Sabha Public Charitable Trust, Srirampet, Mysuru, has organised the following cultural programmes as part of the 134th Sri Ramothsava Sangeethothsava-2024 of Sri Krodhinama Samvatsara from Apr. 17 at Smt. Alammana Choultry, Kunchitigara Sangha, Srirampet from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm daily:

Apr. 17: Shastriya Sangeetha by Vid. Kunna Kudi M. Balamuralikrishna, accompanied by Vidu. Akkarai Subhalakshmi on violin, Vid. Delhi Sai Ram on mridanga, Vid. Guru Prasanna on kanjira.

Apr. 18: Shastriya Sangeetha by Akkarai Sisters — Vidu. Subhalakshmi and Vidu. Sornalatha  — accompanied by Vid. Gokul on violin, Vid. Delhi Sai Ram on mridanga and Vid. Krishna on ghata.

Apr. 19: Shastriya Sangeetha by Vid. Sandeep Narayan, Vid. H.K. Venkat Ram on violin, Vid. Sai Giridhar on mridanga and Vid. Giridhar Udupa on ghata.

Apr. 20: Violin Concert by Vidu. Kanya Kumari with Vid. Sai Giridhar on mridanga and Vid. Vyasa Vittala on kanjira.

Apr. 21: Shastriya Sangeetha by Vidu. Indu Nagaraj & Vidu. Lakshmi Nagaraj; Vid. Janardhan Srinath on violin, Vid. Adamya on mridanga and Vid. Shamit Gowda on ghata.

Apr. 22: Shastriya Sangeetha by Vid. Saketha Raman, accompanied by Vid. Nishanth Chandar on violin, Vid. Arjun Kumar on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on ghata.

Apr. 23: Flute Recital by Vid. J.B. Shruthi Sagar with Vid. Karthik Nagaraj on violin, Vid. Ananth R. Krishna on mridanga and Vid. Guruprasanna on ghata.

Apr. 24: Shastriya Sangeetha by Vid. Ramakrishnan Murthy, accompanied by Vidu. Charumathi Raghuraman on violin, Vid. Anantha R. Krishna on mridanga and Vid. Giridhar Udupa on ghata.

Apr. 25: Shastriya Sangeetha by Trichur Brothers — Vid. Krishna Mohan and Vid. Ramkumar Mohan  — accompanied by Vid.Trichur R. Mohan on mridanga and Vid. Kovai Suresh on ghata.

Apr. 26: Shastriya Sangeetha & Devaranama by Vid. Dr. Vidyabhushan and Group.

Apr. 28: Devaranama by Impana and Group.

Other programmes include: • Ramabhajane & Devaranama from Apr. 17 to 23 by various Bhajana Mandalis between 5 pm and 6 pm at Rama Mandira.

• Discourse on ‘Sundarakanda’ by Kru. Ramachandra, retd. Engineer, on Apr. 24 and 25 between 5 pm and 6 pm at  Rama Mandira.

• Seetha Kalyana on Apr. 21 at 10 am at Rama Mandira (Main sponsors: Rajalakshmi & S. Raju and family, Mysuru).

• Samuhika Vishnu Sahasranama Parayana on Apr. 26 at 5.30 pm at Smt. Alammana Choultry, Srirampet, Mysuru. Discourse on Vishnu Sahasranama by Dr. H.V. Nagaraja Rao.

• Sri Rama Pattabhisheka on Apr. 27 at 9.30 am. Abhisheka & Archana at Rama Mandira; Gamaka Vachana by Vasantha Venkatesh & Vyakyana by Kru. Ramachandra. Mahamangalarathi at 12.30 pm; Prasada Viniyoga at 1 pm (For Sponsors/Donors at Udupi Sri Krishna Mandira, N.S. Road, Mysuru and for General Public at Rama Mandira premises).

• Hanumanthothsava on Apr. 29: 6.30 pm – Procession in Raja beedhi, Nadaswara Vidwan Parthasarathy & Team; 8 pm – Mahamangalarathi & Prasada Viniyoga.

• Shayanothsava on Apr. 30: 6.30 pm – Cultural Programme by Vidu. Deepa Raghunandan, accompanied by Divyashree on violin, Dr. Prahalad Rao on mridanga and Raghunandan on ghata. [Sponsors: Late B.J. Subramanya & Sons and Padma Ananth and well-wishers]

• Olagudi Utsava on May 1: 6.30 pm: Harikatha by  Vidushi Lalitha Uliyaru.

• Sri Shankara Jayanti on May 12: Abhisheka and Archane to Sri Shankara Bhagavath Padaru, Mahamangalarathi and Prasada Viniyoga in association with Sri Chidambareshwaraswamy Temple, stated a press release from Ramabhyudhaya Sabha Trust President Dr. N. Sriram [Mob: 98451-50558].
