Sri Sadashiva Guruji (80), a resident of N.R. Mohalla, passed away on June 22 in city.

He leaves behind two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday.

Sri Sadashiva Guruji used to deliver spiritual discourses at Sri Venkataramana Swamy Temple on Shivaji Road in N.R. Mohalla and also at Vedanti Chikkalinganna’s residence at Siddappa Square for over three decades.

Well versed in the literature of Sri Nijaguna Shivayogi, Sadashiva Guruji was engaged in teaching philosophy of Vedanta in city for nearly 55 years, according to family sources.
