Mysuru: Distribution of wrong question paper in SSLC examination for English subject for the repeaters forced the hapless repeaters to write the exam again at a centre in city. The incident is said to have happened at Sadvidya High School where the repeaters were reportedly given question papers meant for regular students.
On learning the mistake, the repeaters numbering over ten were allegedly called back and asked to take the exam again with the right question paper. Gross negligence of the Chief Supervisor of the Centre is cited as the reason for the blunder.
The exam was held on Mar.28. A few of the repeaters found something odd with the question paper and informed the room invigilator who had reportedly ignored the same.
Officials of Department of Public Instruction have also confirmed the incident. Parents of the affected students complained to SOM about the negligence of the Chief Supervisor of the Centre and has sought action against the offender.
DDPI Mamata confirmed SOM that the blunder of exchanging the question paper had happened only at the said centre and added a report in that context had been sent to the Examination Board.
