April 15, 2021

Bengaluru: Hours after the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) cancelled the Board’s Class 10 exam yesterday due to surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, Karnataka Minister for Primary and Secondary Education S. Suresh Kumar on Wednesday  said that the SSLC exam of State Board will be held as scheduled from June 21.

Speaking to presspersons yesterday, Suresh Kumar scotched rumours that the SSLC exam too would meet the same fate as that of CBSE Class 10 exam. Asserting that the Government will conduct the SSLC exam as per schedule starting from June 21, the Minister said that the exam is more than two months away  and the Government will take stock of the situation then.
