SSUP portal: A clarification

November 14, 2020

Sir,

This refers to my letter titled “Aadhaar updates: Beware of overcharging by Computer Centres and Common Service Centres” in SOM dated Nov. 11.

The links for mobile, email id and language updates have not yet been activated in the Self-Service Update Portal (SSUP) in the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) website. Hence, it is clarified that residents will have to visit the Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) at Saraswathipuram (closed for Deepavali on Nov.14) or Vijayanagar ASK (closed on Nov.16) for these updates. However, gender, name, address and DoB updates can be done from SSUP portal as of now.

– Col. N.G. Krishna Prasad (Retd.), Centre Manager, ASKs Vijayanagar & , Saraswathipuram. Mysuru, 12.11.2020
