Mysuru: The annual Feast of St. Anthony Church at Dornahalli in K.R. Nagar taluk will be held on June 13, with the celebrations having begun from June 4.
The celebrations began yesterday evening with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras, Archbishop Emeritus and Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Mysore.
From June 5 to June 12, daily Novena Days’ Mass and Preaching will be held, with English Mass at 7 am and Kannada Mass at 11 am and 5.30 pm.
On June 13, Kannada Mass will be held at 5 am, 6 am, 8 am, 10 am, 3 pm, 4 pm and 5.30 pm. The 10 am Kannada Mass will be led by Archbishop Emeritus Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras. English Mass will be held at 7 am and 1 pm and Tamil Mass will be held at 11.30 am. Like every year, religious programmes will be held and a decorated chariot of St. Antony will be taken in a procession around the Shrine.
Special KSRTC buses
Special KSRTC buses have been arranged to ferry devotees from Mysuru to Dornahalli for the annual feast from June 4 to 15. The bus timings are as follows:
Departure from Mysuru Bus Stand: 5.30 am, 9.30 am and 3.45 pm. Departure from Dornahalli: 2.15 pm and 8.30 pm.
