St. Joseph’s to host Melange Media Fest tomorrow

Mysuru:  The Department of Communication and Journalism, St. Joseph’s College, Jayalakshmipuram, is organising a one-day State-level Media Fest, Melange ‘19 on Feb. 26 at the college premises.

Theatre artiste and Film Director Shatamarshan S. Avinash will inaugurate the fest.

Melange ‘19 will see a host of competitions that have been organised in view of the present media trends. Hermes (Meme Creation), Thalia (Mad Ads), Democritus (Panel Discussion), Artemis (Live News Reporting), Athena (Quiz), Calliope (Indian Dance) and Iris (Photography) competitions have been organised for all under-graduate students.

More than 25 colleges from around the State are expected to take part in the fest. Apart from this, spot registrations are also allowed.

Senior academicians Dr. K.J. Joseph and R. Padmanabh, Correspondent and Secretary of MDES Rev. Fr. Vijayakumar will grace the occasion. For details, contact the Event Co-ordinator on Mob:99725-42599.
