Mysore/Mysuru: St. Philomena’s College, Bannimantap, Mysuru, recently hosted “INCEPTA

2025,” a grand celebration marking the Oak Jubilee Year, the College’s Establishment Day and also to welcome the newly appointed Bishop of Mysore.

This triple-themed event was organised under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), reflecting the institution’s enduring commitment to excellence in education and community engagement.

Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of the Diocese of Mysore, presided over the event attended by Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras, Archbishop Emeritus, Rev. Dr. Lourdu Prasad Joseph, Rector & Manager, Rev. Fr. Gnana Pragasam, Campus Administrator, Rev. Fr. S. David Sagayaraj, Assistant to the Rector and Dr. Ravi JD Saldanha, Principal.

Vice-Principal Ronald Prakash Cutinha proposed a vote of thanks. The event, compered by Dr. V. Depa, IQAC Co-Coordinator, marked the unveiling of the Oak Jubilee logo symbolising 79 glorious years of academic excellence since the College’s founding in 1946.
