Mysuru: A First Division Assistant (FDA) at CDPO Office at K.R. Pet, who was deputed for election duty, died of heart attack at Suburban Bus Stand here on Tuesday.

The deceased is Putta Swamaiah (54), a resident of Jinnahalli in H.D. Kote taluk.

The deceased had gone to Malavalli for election process related training and after finishing the training, he boarded the bus there and came to the Suburban Bus Stand. While alighting from the bus, he suffered from a heart attack, collapsed and breathed his last, according to the Police.

Lashkar Police have registered a case in this regard.
