Mysuru: The artistes of Sanchalana Mysuru in association with Kannada and Culture Department will be staging the play ‘Ghashiram Kotwal’ on Aug. 9 at Kiru Rangamandira in Kalamandira premises at 6.30 pm to mark the valedictory of theatre training programme. 

The play, authored by playwright Vijay Tendulkar (originally in Marathi), is translated to Kannada by S. Ramnath. Srinivas Bhat has composed music and the play is directed by Jeevan Kumar B. Heggod. Entry is free. 

Sanchala Mysuru President and Camp Director Deepak Mysore will deliver the keynote address. ZP CEO K. Jyothi, Rangayana Director Bhagirathi Bai Kadam, Rangayana Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy, Kannada & Culture Asst. Director H. Chennappa and Drama Juniors Director T. Sharanaiah will be present.
